Volume Activation Management Tool 2.0 Download

Microsoft has released a beta version of Volume Activation Management tool (VAMT) 2.0 for system administrators in corporates and large business organizations with volume licensing agreements or subscriptions. Volume Activation Tool 2.0 primarily adds support for Microsoft Office 2010 Beta.



Activation Management Tool (VAMT) 2.0 (Beta) is a managed MMC plug-in with support for Office 2010 Beta. Administrators may use it to manage volume editions of Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Office 2010 Beta installed with a Key Management Service (KMS) client key or a Multiple Activation Key (MAK). A convenient command line interface (CLI) allows automated, scheduled VAMT tasks without UI interaction.

From Office 2010, all installed Office 2010 must be activated, including volume license copy, which previously does not require online activation against Microsoft activation server when a VLK (volume license key) is used to install Office 2007, Office 2003 or Office XP.

Microsoft Office 2010 Suites SKU (Edition) Applications Inclusion Details

Microsoft is going to make available the Microsoft Office
2010 Beta publicly for everybody who interested to try out the next generation Office productivity suite to download. From the official Office 2010 Beta site, a new suite edition of Office 2010 Beta is available, i.e. Office Home and Business 2010, instead of usual Office Professional or Ultimate 2010.



Within the FAQ, Microsoft does reveal the editions or SKUs which Office suites will be available for purchase. To the joy of 64-bit (x64) Windows operating system users, Office 2010 products will be available in 32-bit and 64-bit versions. Previous versions of Office such as Office 2007, Office 2003 and Office XP only available in 32-bit (x86) flavor.

Microsoft Office 2010 Beta 2 Build 14.0.4514.1007 Download (with Project and Visio)

Another new build of Microsoft Office 2010 from beta branch has been compiled by Microsoft mid October, and had since leaked to Internet. The Microsoft Office 2010 Beta 2 with build version 14.0.4514.1009. The Office 2010 Beta 2 has changed the installation procedure. User is now required to enter the 25-digit license serial number or product key prior to setup of Office 2010 been started, whereas previously the information is only been asked after installation is initiated.

Sign Up and Join Microsoft Office Starter 2010 Beta Without Invite

Microsoft Office Starter 2010 is an edition of Office productivity suite which will be pre-loaded by OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) on new computers and is available exclusively on new PCs. Office Starter 2010 will replace Microsoft Works, which currently been pre-installed on new computers shipped. Office Starter 2010 is a reduced-functionality, advertising-supported version of Office 2010 that intend to provide new PC owners with immediate exposure to the Office 2010 experience on new PCs right out of the box.

Office Starter 2010 includes only Office Word Starter 2010 and Office Excel Starter 2010, with the basic functionality for creating, viewing and editing documents, but offering a consistent user experience and user interface such as Ribbon menu, and end-users can upgrade Office Starter 2010 to a fully comprehensive version of the Office suite at ease.
